What kind of cd to burn pictures

So, how does one do it? So, make sure to read till the very end if you want to learn how to burn pictures to a CD properly! As mentioned, our first tutorial will be on how to burn pictures to CD on Windows. The first thing to do is to insert your blank disc into a blank driver that can be read by your PC.

In a couple of seconds, a pop-up should appear on your screen as to how you want to use the disc, if not, then open the File Explorer, go to This PC, and then manually search for your disc. You need only to double-click said disc in order to get the pop-up shown in the image below. After the previous step, you should automatically be moved onto a blank folder where you can drag and then drop the files that you want to use for your CD.

You can also drop audio files onto this folder — allowing you to create a CD with pictures and music alike! Similar to the Windows method, this second one will be taking advantage of a built-in feature in Mac OS computers that will allow you to burn pictures with ease. Of course, there are minor differences in the process, but you will find that once you know how to burn pictures to CD on Windows, then you will know how to burn pictures to CD on Mac as well!

The first difference is that rather than creating your special folder filled with the pictures you want to use directly onto the disc, you must create a separate folder that will then be burned onto the disc.

If you do not already have a folder of the pictures you want to burn, then you can create a new one by right-clicking and choosing the New Folder option. Once you have your picture folder created, you can then insert the disc that you want to use for your pictures. Allow a couple of seconds for the computer to read the CD and wait for this pop-up to appear refer to the image below. Since they are supposed to be re-usable over and over, CD-RW discs are more expensive.

That sounds perfect, right? So there is no chance of accidentally overwriting your valuable pictures or other data. Who cares — just trash it and make another one.

They cost less than 20 cents sometimes a lot less — consider them disposable. Once you have your data recorded on there and the disc is closed, you can put it in a place for safekeeping. Or if you recorded an audio CD, you can take it to your car and listen to music on the way to work. Get updates when new comments are added.
